2024 Wrap Up

Another year comes to a close and it’s been a roller coaster here at The Sauce Studio. My priority has been to support a close family member who has been unwell since January. I also took some time out to manage my own health as I suffered a chronic pain flare up which impacted my ability to work over several months. Despite all this going on I managed to do a few trips out west to complete numerous regional projects and squeezed in some commissions with schools on the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Logan and Moreton Bay. A big thanks to my clients and friends in Aramac, Blackall, Burringbar, Carina, Chinchilla, Emerald, Goovigen, Longreach, Muttaburra, Nerangba, Oxenford, Regents Park, Tambo, Waterford West and Winton.

My trusty sidekick Mac & I are very much looking forward to catching you in the new year with the current schedule fully booked into March. Thanks for your support, feel free to share my work and catch you in 2025.

Burringbar

It was awesome to catch up with my good friends @plumtree_pocket and complete a sign for a new nursery space. Surrounded by botanical gardens and native bush tucker orchards, its a stunning location i have had the privilege to watch grow since childhood. contributing to exciting new things happening and continuing to learn from these plant & bush tucker wizards is an amazing experience. Give em a follow and go check em out!

Nimbin

I was contacted by Southern Cross Hemp in Nimbin to apply some artwork on a couple of newly equipped grow rooms. The client provided the designs and I was able to turn this project around at short notice prior to VIP’s visiting the nursery to see their investment growing. Portraits on a corrugated surface was challenging…every time I paint corrugated I declare I will never do it again and I’m sure fellow artists can relate. That said painting cannabis leaves on top of grow rooms for the police helicopters certainly makes for a memorable experience.
